Terrell Montgomery brings decades of experience as a professional musician and music educator to Southern Music Academy, along with an active career as a touring and recording musician. He has performed throughout North America and has appeared on television, radio, and in film — including an on-camera performance with his band in a major motion picture. Terrell’s teaching is rooted in discovery and Music Learning Theory to help students build musicianship by ear before diving into notation. He holds Georgia teaching certification and continues to perform regularly with several established entities, bringing real-world performance experience into everything he teaches. Steven is thrilled to join the Southern Music Academy community and looks forward to helping students discover the joy of making music together.
