Adrienne Paton, musician and teacher, graduated with degrees in Music Performance and Music Education from renounced music school, The University of North Texas in May 2021.

As a performer, her talents have taken her to Carnegie Hall with the Virginia Tech Wind Ensemble and to Vicenza, Italy to tour Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the International Lyric Academy. She has also performed in the North Texas Symphonic Band under Mr. Dennis Fisher, the UNT Opera Orchestra, the Virginia Tech Symphony Orchestra, and the Clarinet Academy in the Czech Republic.

In addition to performing classical music, Adrienne loves playing jazz and played alto saxophone with the Virginia Tech Lab Band. She also enjoys performing in pit orchestras and has been featured in many musicals including The Producers and Mr. Marmalade at Virginia Tech, doubling on clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, and saxophone.

Adrienne began playing clarinet at age 11, studying with Dr. Lisa Raschiatore. In her early years at Plymouth-Canton High School in Michigan, Adrienne’s interest in music grew and she taught herself flute and saxophone. She played in as many ensembles as she could, joining her school’s jazz band, a flute choir, chamber ensembles, as well as the top band. Now, Adrienne continues to take as many musical learning opportunities as she can, especially on her doubling instruments.
Aside from music, Adrienne loves traveling and new experiences and spent time backpacking in 18 National Parks this summer. She is also an avid fitness enthusiast and National Academy of Sports Medicine personal trainer and teaches HIIT, Bootcamp, and Insanity classes.
