National Public Radio described Rosita Mathews as a “classically trained pianist with a mean gospel rhythm”. Rosita is a classically trained pianist who started piano at the age of 5. She toured the country as a solo performer and a choir accompanist and director performing at public schools, private and public colleges and universities, and concert venues. She won the Outstanding Music Student in high school, studied music at the University of Michigan and Southern Seminary in Kentucky and has continued music lessons as an adult.
She has also taught music in public schools with students of all ages for almost 10 years.
